Itinerary
D1. Arrival in Beijing
Upon arriving at Beijing, we are met by our tour guide to be transferred to our centrally located Hotel.
Hotel: Days Inn Forbidden City – 3 star.
D2. Beijing (American Breakfast + Lunch + Special Dinner)
Beijing is the capital city of China and the host city for the 2008 Olympics. We visit the Tian An Men Square, noted as the largest public square in the world with its monuments and buildings situated around the square's perimeter. Thereafter visit the Forbidden City. Dinner will then be served at a fabulous Peking Duck Banquet.
D3. Beijing (AB+L+ D)
The Great Wall of China is the highlight of today. We will hike along the Juyongguan Pass of the Great Wall. enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Followed by a visit to the famous 2008 Olympic Host Statium - Bird's Nests and Water Cube up close. We will enjoy the astonishing Kung Fu show after dinner.
D4. Beijing (AB+L+D)
we will be visiting a local school in Beijing. In the school, students have a chance to interact with the local Chinese students and teachers. A tour of the school will be guided by the students and teachers and we will also arrange Chinese traditional Paper Cutting and Calligraphy Lesson by using brush and ink for you to participate.
D5. Beijing/Xi’an (AB+Special Lunch+D)
the Temple of Heaven was where the Emperor prayed for harvest in Ming and Qing dynasty. We learn how to play Tai Chi in the park. Tai Chi is an internal Chinese martial art often practiced for health reasons. We will have a Tai Chi master teaching you in a morning to gain some yin and yang energy. We visit to the historic Hutong and Alley of Beijing old town. Take in the many different sights and sounds of historic Beijing. We learn how to make Dumplings (Jiao Zi) and have Lunch in a local Hutong family, later n the day, you will have a chance to have a rickshaw tour of the Hutongs, and stop on the Drum Tower. We take soft sleeper overnight train to Xi’an after dinner.

D6. Xi’an (AB+L+SD)
Arrival in Xi’an in the morning. Xian is the former capital of China and enjoys a rich 5000 year old history. In 221 BC, Qin Shi Huang unified China and became its first emperor. When he died, an entire Terra Cotta Army was constructed to be buried along with the emperor. It was uncovered serendipitously in 1974 by farmers, and then became one of the century's great archeological discoveries. We will visit the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum and learn how the terror cotta warriors and horses are made later on at nearby store. Your visit to Xian is not complete without a visit to the Ancient City Wall (Cheng Qiang). Xi'an's 14th-century wall is one of the most complete city walls in China and certainly one of the best examples from the Ming dynasty. You may practice Tai Chi or ride a bike to enjoy the scenery. For dinner, we enjoy Hot Pot.

D7. Xi’an/Shanghai (AB+L)
We will have a Farmer Painting Demo at Hu County this morning, Hu County is called ‘The First Farmer’s Painting County’ in China. We walk along the Great Mosque, try lots of special tasty food, such as the Chinese Burger. You’ll depart Xian for Shanghai by air, visit the famous Bund upon arrival.

D8. Shanghai (AB+L+D)
A full-day sightseeing tour of Shanghai shows you the city's old town highlights including the Yu Yuan Garden, as well as modern Shanghai's City Planning Exhibition Center. Discover modern China with a visit to the Pudong Development District, which includes several impressive skyscrapers. We will visit a local school, joining a Chinese class, where you'll learn the language alongside local students. Enjoy a astonishing Acrobatic Show after dinner.
D9. Shanghai/Hometown (AB)
Transfer to the airport for your flight home, or begin optional Post-Trip Extension
