Tour Itinerary

Day 1. Hometown to Beijing (In-flight Meals)
Fly to Beijing, enjoy delicious meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment during the journey.
Day 2. Beijing (IM)
Welcome to Beijing, You will be greeted by our tour guide and transferred to check in at luxurious hotel, enjoy the rest at leisure on your own.
Day 3. Beijing (AB, L, SD)
Beijing is the capital city of China, with population of 17.4 million. Your full day tour begins at the Tiananmen Square (Gate of Heavenly Peace). Forbidden City (Gu Gong) is the imperial palace for Ming and Qing emperors for 500 years. Summer Palace is described by UNESCO as “a masterpiece of Chinese landscape garden design”, enjoy a walk along Lake Kunming. try fabulous Peking Duck (Kao Ya) as dinner.

Day 4. Beijing (AB, L, D)
The Great Wall of China (Chang Cheng) is another world heritage site, it is a dream destination for millions of people around the world to fulfill the famous Chinese saying “one cannot be a successful person without a visit to the Great Wall”, You can hike along the Badaling Pass of the Great Wall, where President Richard Nixon and his wife visited in 1972, during his historic journey to China. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant followed by a visit to the historic Alley (Hu Tong) of Beijing old town, spending sometime with a local Hutong family will be a highlight of this trip. Here you can sense the many different sights and sounds of historic Beijing. Walk along the World Trade Street and later watch the ‘Legend of Kungfu’ show.

Day 5. Beijing (AB)
Explore the Capital city on your own. Or join the optional tour to Tianjin, which is the sixth largest city of China. Tianjin has several famous snack items. Goubuli is a traditional brand of steamed buns with tasty flavor filling that is famous throughout China. Guifaxiang is a traditional brand of mahua (twisted dough sticks). Visit Ancient Culture Street, this 580- meter-long street is full of Qing Dynasty style Architectures. Head back to Beijing after the stop at Yangliuqing (Green Willows) Museum, which is famous for its popular Chinese New Year-themed, traditional-style, colorful Wash Paintings.

Day 6. Beijing/Xi’an (AB, L, D)
Visit the Temple of Heaven (Tian Tan), where the Emperors of Ming and Qing dynasties performed annual ceremonies of prayer to heaven for good harvest. Walk along the New Qianmen Street and admire the beautiful Bird’s Nest National Stadium and the Water Cube up close. fly to Xi’an, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Da Yan Ta), which was used to hold sutras and figurines of the Buddha that were brought back from India. After dinner, stroll down the Muslim Night Market to see traditional Muslin culture.
Day 7. Xi’an (AB, L, SD)
Xi’an has a rich history dating back thousands of years. The first emperor, Qin Shi Huang, unified China in 201 BC. When he died, an entire Terra Cotta Army was buried with the emperor in the mausoleum. You will visit the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum (Bing Ma Yong). The whole mausoleum is like a cultural treasure vault with large collections of relics. After a stop at the Bell Tower, enjoy an Imperial Dumpling Banquet (Jiao Zi) and shortly after watch the world famous Tang Dynasty Stage Show.

Day 8. Xi’an/Guilin (AB, SL, D)
Your visit to Xi’an is not complete without a visit to the Ancient City Wall (Cheng Qiang). You may practice Tai Chi or ride a bike to enjoy the scenery on the wall. After the morning exercise you’ll depart Xi’an for Guilin by air. To fulfill your craving for western food, you will be offered some western style hamburgers for lunch today. Upon arrival in Guilin, your will visit the Reed Flute Cave, use your imagination as you pass by the different formations to decide what they resemble.

Day 9. Guilin/Yangshuo (AB, L)
The highlight of today is a 4-hour leisure cruise down Lijiang River, passing through valleys, bamboo groves and rice fields. Lunch will be served on board the river cruise boat. Upon arrival in Yangshuo, you will visit the beautiful Moon Hill. Enjoy the rest of the day at your own leisure. Ride a bicycle or walk to the countryside and experience the real Chinese Farmer’s life. Enjoy the famous nature theatre performance ‘Impression on Sanjie Liu’.
Day 10. Yangshuo/Guilin/Shanghai (AB, L)
Drive back to Guilin to finish up the tour in Guilin by visiting the Elephant Trunk Hill. Fly to Shanghai in the afternoon and visit the famous Bund (Wai Tan), which is a five-block riverfront promenade with many of Shanghai’s banks and trading houses. Enjoy the world famous astonishing Acrobatic Show tonight.
Day 11. Shanghai (AB, L, SD)
Today’s city tour starts with a visit to Cheng Huang Miao, experience the bustling shopping district of Nanjing Road and People’s Square and use your bargaining skills to acquire memento for this visit. After shopping, spend some free time at Shanghai Museum, with special exhibites and collection of 120,000 precious works of art, this museum has become one of the best in China. Take local Shanghai Cuisine as dinner tonight.
Day 12. Shanghai/Suzhou (AB, L, D)
Drive to Suzhou, visit the Grand Canal, Lingering Garden and Silk Fashion Studio, where you can enjoy a silk fashion show.

Day 13. Suzhou/Watertown/Hangzhou (AB, L, D)
Suzhou Museum is the last design of Mr. I. M. Pei in his career. It is not only a public construction symbol in Suzhou, but also an innovative mark bridging Chinese architectural culture from the tradition to the future.Take a 2-hours bus to Wuzhen, which is a thousand years old coastal town. Sites of particular note include a local cloth printing workshop, an exhibition of antique beds from the Ming & Qing Dynasties and a museum of local folk culture. There will also be a tranquil cruise in Chinese gondolas.
Day 14. Hangzhou/Shanghai/Yichang/ Yangtze(AB, L, D)
Hangzhou is one of the seven capitals of ancient China, known for its tea products. Take small boat on the west lake, revealing the ethereal beauty of Hangzhou’s willow draped islands. Then visit Six Harmony Pagoda, which was built about 1000 years ago in Song dynasty. Take motor coach back to Shanghai, take a flight o Yichang, Our cruise President No. 1 set sail from Yichang in late evening.

Day 15. Cruise the Yangtze (AB, L, D)
We disembark to visit the massive Three Gorges Dam Project in the morning, the Dam is the world’s largest dam with two five-stage locks to raise and lower ships to the different river levels. The ship sails through Xiling Gorge, the longest one of three Gorges.
Day 16. Cruise the Yangtze (AB, L, D)
Sail through Qutang Gorge, the shortest and most dramatic one of the Three Gorges. Wu Gorge is famous for its quiet beauty. Disembark at Wushan where we board 40-foot-long-sampan for a leisurely ride through Shennong Stream, which offers clear running waters, picturesque rock formations, and even monkeys and goat along its banks. we will pass through the ship-lock of the new three gorges dam.
Day 17. Cruise the Yangtze (AB, L, D)
The first shore excursion will be ‘Ghost City’ Fengdu, which contains numerous statues of devils and ghosts that roam the afterworld. Fengdu model after the Chinese Hell in Taoist mythology, built over 1800 years ago.
Day 18. Chongqing/Hong Kong (AB, L)
Arrives in Chongqing at 9:00am. Chongqing is called the ‘mountain city’, which was the capital of China during World War II. We drive over to see the pandas, with just an estimated 1,000 surviving in the wild. We then fly to Hong Kong. Take hotel shuttle bus to your luxury hotel, enjoy the rest of the day on your own.
Day 19. Hong Kong
Half day sightseeing tour of Hong Kong Island: Stanley Market, Repulse Bay, Aberdeen’s Floating Community and the Famous Victoria Peak.

Today is free on your own to explore the world famous “Bargining Paradise”.
Day 21. Hong Kong/Hometown
Transfer to the airport for your flight home, or begin optional Post-Trip Extension.
