Is This Trip Right for You?

This is an active trip. Our tour group covers a lot of ground each day, and we spend two to three hours on our feet during tours. The pace is fast. We have many early mornings and long bus rides necessary to cover the territory. Some of our tours require walking over uneven surfaces or up and down steep slopes or steps. Day 1 Depart for Guangzhou, China
Depart for Guangzhou, China. Take a flight to Guangzhou, China, and start your 2024 trip to beautiful China!

Day 2 Arrive in Guangzhou, China
Upon arrival in Guangzhou, our tour representative will meet you outside the baggage claim exit and guide you to the comforts of our transfer vehicle that will bring you to your hotel for check-in, to rest and to refresh. And you will have to take care of your own meals.

Day 3 Guangzhou
Embark on an enchanting City Tour in Guangzhou, the vibrant capital city of Guangdong Province in Southeast China. Renowned as a major South China Sea port, Guangzhou serves as China's southern gateway to the world and stands as a pivotal hub city within the Belt and Road Initiative. As part of the 2024 Beautiful China Tour, the opening ceremony and welcome dinner will be hosted in the evening, promising an unforgettable start to your exploration of this captivating city.

Day 4 Guangzhou-Beijing
Today we will take a domestic flight from Guangzhou to Beijing. Upon arrival, a designated transport will be waiting to greet us, ensuring a smooth transition from the airport to our accommodations. Following our arrival, we'll indulge in a satisfying lunch to rejuvenate ourselves for the adventures that await in this historic city.

The following activities including embark on a memorable journey through Beijing's storied past as we traverse its distinctive old Beijing hutongs and courtyard houses. In an authentic exploration of the city's heritage, we'll opt for a traditional mode of transport: the rickshaw, allowing us to immerse ourselves fully in the charm and character of these ancient alleyways and residences. We will also have an opportunity to engage in captivating conversations with longtime residents of Beijing as they share insights into the city's historical artifacts, including the everyday items once commonplace among its inhabitants. 


Next, discover the foundational principles of mortise and tenon joints in ancient Chinese architecture. Guided by seasoned experts in this craft, participants will collaboratively construct a frame model of the Forbidden City. Through this hands-on experience, gain profound insights into the remarkable wisdom and craftsmanship of ancient Chinese civilization, while immersing yourself in the distinctive charm of its culture.

Day 5 Beijing
Today we will explore the most representative Chinese buildings within the illustrious Forbidden City, showcasing the traditional construction technique of "mortise and tenon structure." Uncover the profound implications of imperial power within the architectural hierarchy, as manifested in the grandeur of this imperial complex. Then dive deeper into the Forbidden City's rich artistic heritage, discerning the significance of various paintings in relation to the imperial hierarchy. Explore the architectural mythical beast culture, unveiling the symbolic significance of these creatures within the imperial context. Additionally, unravel the profound Feng Shui culture embedded within the layout and design of the Forbidden City, shaping its auspicious energy flow.

Then we will head for Temple of Heaven, immerse yourself in the architectural intricacies of ancient Chinese temples,  discover the symbolic representation of the celestial and terrestrial realms through architectural elements, integrating concepts such as yin and yang, odd and even, and the five elements. Experience the synthesis of aesthetics and artistry within these sacred spaces, offering a glimpse into the imperial architectural legacy of China.

Day 6 Beijing
Today we will experience the Eco-friendly charm of Beijing through a scenic bicycle ride along its historic Central Axis, offering a unique perspective on the city's rich heritage. Embark on an immersive journey through 14 ancient landmarks, delving deep into Beijing's storied past:

Firstly, we will explore the ancient buildings along Beijing's central axis, where you'll be captivated by the 750-year narrative of the imperial capital, marveling at the splendor of China's ancient architecture. Then we will traverse through 14 historical sites, including the South Moat, Yongding Gate, Zhushikou, Sanli River, Tiananmen Square, Northwest Corner Tower of the Forbidden City, Jingshan, Di'anmen, Prince Chun's Mansion, Yinding Bridge, Bell and Drum Tower, Wanning Bridge, Yuhe Imperial City Root, Chang'an Street, and Chongwenmen. At last rest in the hotel and get ready to embark on another day of discovery in the heart of Beijing.

Day 7 Beijing
Today we will explore some beauty of Modern architecture in Beijing by visiting National Centre for the Performing Arts and National Sport Stadium.


National Centre for the Performing Arts stands as a beacon of artistic and architectural brilliance, akin to a radiant pearl. Seamlessly blending Eastern and Western cultural influences, it embodies the principle of harmonious coexistence. With a vision to forge a modern and internationally acclaimed cultural and artistic sanctuary, this institution serves as a testament to the enduring power of creativity and collaboration on a global scale.

The National Stadium, affectionately known as the Bird's Nest, beckons as an iconic symbol of architectural ingenuity and sporting excellence. We will be guided to discover  the innovative construction methods and collaborative efforts that brought the stadium to life. And uncovert he deeper themes of strength, unity, and human achievement woven into the stadium's design.

Day 8 Beijing
Today we will visit the China Arts and Crafts Museum & China Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum.

Discover the variety of exquisite crafts including Art ceramics, Ivory, jade, wood, and stone carvings, Cloisonné,Gold, silver, and copper ornaments,Clay figurines,Lacquer art and Ethnic and folk crafts. We will also visit the intangible cultural heritage at the Cloisonné Factory by discovering the national treasure cloisonné factory and immersing yourself in the hands-on experience of creating cloisonné dot blue.

Day 9 Beijing
In the morning, we will explore which is ancient military defense system. In the afternoon, we will visit the Royal Garden Summer Palace, gaining insight into the colorful painting culture of its corridor  which is Guinness World Record holder.

Day 10 Beijing-Tianjin-Beijing
Today We will explore the Tianjin Italian Style Street , Ancient Culture Street and Porcelain House that the entire building was built with more than 700 million pieces of ancient porcelain, more than 13,000 pieces of ancient porcelain vases, plates, and bowls, more than 300 stone sculptures from past dynasties.

Day 11 Beijing-Xi'an
After breakfast,  we will assemble and take a high speed bullet Train to Xi'an which used to be the ancient Capital. The tour guide will greet and pick you up at the train station and escort you to the hotel for check in and have a lunch after.

We will also visit the Daming Palace National Heritage Park and Daming Palace Archaeological Exploration Center to Learn archaeological knowledge and simulate archeology.

Day 12 Xi'an
After Breakfast,  we will gather together and drive to exploring Jiuwei Mountain in Yanxia Town offers a fantastic opportunity to delve into the geology and unique landforms of the region. Learning about loess gullies and plateaus provides insights into the natural processes that have shaped the landscape over time. It's a chance to appreciate the beauty and complexity of the earth's formations while gaining a deeper understanding of the local environment. And we will also experience the characteristic cave dwelling architecture in Guanzhong is a fascinating glimpse into the region's history and culture. These traditional dwellings offer insights into the ways in which people have adapted to their surroundings over generations. Participating in interesting folk activities with children adds a lively and playful dimension to the experience. Whether it's flying kites, playing traditional games, or engaging in arts and crafts, there's a sense of joy and camaraderie that comes from sharing these experiences with young ones. It's a reminder of the importance of passing down traditions and creating lasting memories with the next generation.

Yuanjiacun, nestled in Liquan, Xianyang, is truly a gem showcasing the essence of Guanzhong's traditional folk life and culinary heritage. Its antique streets, adorned with gray bricks and tiles, offer a picturesque glimpse into the region's rich cultural tapestry.As you wander through this quaint village, you'll find yourself transported back in time, surrounded by traditional workshops that have been integral to the region's identity for generations. From the cooking oil workshop to the cloth workshop, from vinegar production to tea blending, each establishment embodies a piece of Guanzhong's history and craftsmanship.

In the evening, we will appreciate the national intangible cultural heritage of Qin Opera which is originating from the Shaanxi province, Qin Opera, also known as Bangzi Opera due to its historical use of jujube wooden bangzi accompaniment, holds a significant place in Chinese opera history. Its early performances were characterized by simplicity, roughness, boldness, and exaggeration, reflecting a rich flavor of life and skillful storytelling. As Qin Opera evolved and spread throughout the country, it influenced various regional opera styles and directly contributed to the development of Bangzi Opera. After watching the performance, we will have an exciting opportunity to Interact with the cast and immersing ourselves  in Qin Opera culture i to gain firsthand insights into this traditional art form.

Day 13 Xi'an
Today we will drive to lintong and visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horse. Let us Explore the eighth wonder of the world, the Qin Shi Huang Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. This museum comprehensively displays the great achievements of Qin Shi Huang Zheng. After that , visit the Terracotta Warriors Replica Factory to immerse oneself in the rich history and culture! Creating your own terracotta warriors and horses through a do-it-yourself experience is not only fun but also educational. Understanding the techniques and processes used in the production of these ancient artifacts can provide valuable insights into the craftsmanship of ancient civilizations.xploring the mystery behind the production of terracotta warriors and horses from two thousand years ago adds a layer of intrigue to the experience.
