Depart USA to China, enjoy delicious meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment for our journey.
D2、Beijing
The flight arrives at Beijing, we are met by our tour guide and to be transferred to our Luxury Hotel.
D3、Beijing (AB, L, SD)
Beijing is the capital of China, and the host city for the 2008 Olympics. We embark for a full day tour, begins at Tian An Men Square, the largest public square in the world, its monuments and buildings situated around the square's perimeter. Then we visit the Forbidden City and Summer Palace , enjoy a walk along Lake Kunming. Dinner is served at a fabulous Peking Duck Banquet.
D4、Beijing (AB, L, D)
The Great Wall of China is one of the seven great man-made wonders of the world and definitely the focal point of China. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant followed by a visit to the historic Hutong and Alley of Beijing old town, take in the sights and sounds of the Beijing of olden times. Enjoy the Traditional Chinese Kungfu Show tonight.
D5、Beijing/Yichang/Yangtze River (AB, L, D)
Visit the Temple of Heaven , where the Emperor prayed for harvest in Ming and Qing dynasty. Later in the day, we board a flight to Yichang and embark th e President 3 (Splendid China, Pre-5 Star).
D6、Yangtze River (AB, L, D)
Our cruise's first stop is at Taipingxi (or Sandouping), where we disembark to visit the massive Three Gorges Dam Project. The ship sails through Xiling Gorge, the longest one of the Three Gorges.
D7、Yangtze River (AB, L, D)
Disembark at Wushan where we board small riverboat for a leisurely ride through Shennong Stream, which offers clear running waters, picturesque rock formations, and even monkeys and goat along its banks. Sail through Wu Gorge, famous for its quiet beauty, and Qutang Gorge, the shortest and most dramatic one of the Three Gorges.
D8、Yangtze River (AB, L, D)
Excursion at Shibaozhai or ‘Ghost City' Fengdu, depends on the river condition. Shaibaozhai is famous for its 12-story tall, 400 year old wooden pagoda, which is balanced precariously on top of the steep cliff.
D9、Yangtze River /Chongqing/Kunming (AB, L, D)
Disembark at Chongqing , before boarding a short flight to Kunming, we visit Chongqing Zoo, where we can have an intimate contact with pandas. Visit the Western Hills after arrival, a range of four mountains whose silhouette is said to resemble “Sleeping Beauty,”
D10、Kunming/Dali (AB, L, D)
Take a half day tour to the 400 year old Golden Palace Temple at the top of Mingfeng Hill, home of the Taoist Taihe Palace (Hall of Supreme Harmony) and the largest copper temple in China. Then drive to Dali, Capital of ancient Nanzhao and Dali Kingdoms.
D11、Dali (AB, L, D)
Dali is the home of the Bai minority. A two hour cruise on scenic Erhai Lake to enjoy its alpine setting. Visit Jin Suo Isle, which is home to a Bai minority fishing village and colorful market. Continue on to visit the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple, 9th century examples of the architectural art and culture of the Bai ethnic group.
D12、Dali/Lijiang (AB, L, D)
Drive to Lijiang today, stop at the village of Xizhou, home to a diverse population. An important stop on the trade route to Tibet, Xizhou flourished in the Ming dynasty (1368-1644), along with the fortunes of Dali's tea merchants, followed with a visit to a traditional Bai house. Naxi ethnic minorities have a long history in Lijiang, their splendid culture, unique traditions, architecture and clothing. Visit the renowned Black Dragon Pool with its Moon Embracing Pavilion, Five Phoenix Pavilion and Dongba Cultural Village.
D13、Lijiang (AB, L, D)
Visit the ancient Dayan Town, a UNESCO world heritage site, where the houses are wood-and-earth structures with tiled roofs and flower-filled courtyards.visit the Mu Family Mansion and Yufeng Temple, famous for it's 500 year old camellia tree. In the afternoon, visit Baisha village to see its Ming and Qing dynasty frescos.
D14、Lijiang/Hong Kong (AB, IM)
We leave the mainland as we transfer to the airport to board a flight into Hong Kong, the ‘Shopping Capital' and ‘Bargainer's Paradise'. The rest of the day is free for leisure.
D15、Hong Kong (AB)
Take a half-day tour of Hong Kong. The highlight of which are Stanley Market, fashionable Repulse Bay and Aberdeen's Floating Community and a jaunt by cable car up Victoria Peak to catch a panoramic vista of Hong Kong Harbor, the rest of the day is free for leisure.
D16、Hong Kong/USA (AB)
Our tour is over as we board the international flight back to the States. |
