Coronavirus Update - Aug 10

InterTrips Employees Working from Home

By order of Governor Gavin Newsom, all California businesses that are not "life-sustaining" have been ordered to close. This affects all employees at our office in Los Angeles, CA. All employees are equipped to work from home and remain available by email and will continue to respond to your online inquiries. If you need to contact us, please send an email to [email protected]. Please note that check refund processing will resume as soon as our Accounting staff is legally allowed to resume their in-office duties.

All trips Suspended through Oct 31st, 2020

All the paymemts will automatically be applied as a Future Travel Credit. The credit may be used to book any trips offered on www.intertrips.com within the next 24 months from your original departure date. You don't need to rebook the trip now, we will contact all affected guests once we start operating the tour again.

For departures after Nov 1st, 2020, as the situation is evolving, we need more time to decide if we are able to operate your tour. Please understand that we may not be able to respond to your specific queries at this stage.

General Information

Our team is monitoring the Coronavirus situation closely as the safety and security of our guests and staff is always our top priority. Except for our tours in China, InterTrips tour packages are operating as per our team's standard procedures. InterTrips has protocols in place, including preventative measures, to prioritize the safety of our guests in all parts of the world. Our Tour Managers are taking additional precautionary measures and remaining vigilant of this situation at all times. For more information about the Coronavirus including tips on prevention and travel advisory, please visit the U.S. Center for Disease Control's website at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/about/index.html.

Should you decide to seek any refund, we urge you to contact your travel insurance company for reimbursement of any imposed cancellation penalties that must be deducted. Please note that travel insurance policies typically do not consider an event of this nature as a covered event. Please contact your insurance company to verify your coverage details.

As always, the health, safety and well-being of our customers, our associates and our communities is of paramount concern. We continue to monitor this quickly evolving situation and are here to assist our customers as needed.

Please stay safe and continue to wash your hands, avoid touching your face, and limit face-to-face interactions wherever possible, and avoid shaking hands with others. For additional information about COVID-19, visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at cdc.gov.

InterTrips is facing an extremely difficult time at this moment. We hope that as a valued customer, you will consider rescheduling your trip instead of canceling it. Your decision is vitally important for us. Thank you for your understanding and continued support during this dynamic, turbulent time.
