Day 1  Home- Nairobi, Kenya
Board your international flight bound for Africa from your select international gateway.

Day 2 Arrival in Nairobi, Kenya
Welcome to Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya since its independence in 1963, and with a big metropolitan population of over 9 million. The name of this city comes from the Maasai language which associates it with the meaning of "cool water" fittingly because the Nairobi River flows through the city. Nairobi was founded as a British colony in 1899 and grew to become the center and rail port on the Africa continent for coffee and tea. Today, modern Nairobi has expanded its trade beyond these commodities and has become a key financial and manufacturing center in Africa. Upon arrival, guests will be met and greeted at the airport and then will be transferred to hotel for check-in.

Day 3 Nairobi – Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, guests will be transferred to the magical Maasai Mara. Also simply known as The Mara, it is a large game reserve in Narok County in Kenya, and it is contiguous with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. It is world-renowned for its exceptional populations of lions, leopards, cheetahs and elephants, zebras, gazelles, and antelopes, embarking on the famous annual Great Migration to and from the Serengeti. The game drives will be conducted to get close to the wild animals in their natural environment where guests may feel outnumbered and as being observed instead. Then return to the comforts of the accommodation after the game drives is to relax and to enjoy the local food.

Day 4 Maasai Mara National Reserve
Today guests will have a full day of game drive at Maasai Mara National Reserve, which will be full of natural bewilderment and excitement in attempting to discover and sight the Big Five – the collection of buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhinoceros. And when the timing is right, witness the Crossing of the Heaven when migrating animals have to cross the Mara River populated with fierce crocodiles waiting for their meals.  Return to the comforts of the lodge for dinner at the end of the day.

Day 5 Maasai Mara National Reserve – Nairobi
Leave the first safari experience at Maasai Mara National Reserve and head back to Nairobi after early breakfast. Along the way view the spectacular beauty of The Eastern or Gregory Rift which is a part of The Great Rift Valley, a set of geographic trenches approximately 3,700 miles long stretching from Southeast Africa to faraway Lebanon. Arrive in Nairobi for lunch, and the rest of the day will be a break before the next adventure.

Day 6 Nairobi – Uganda
Check out from the hotel, depart for Nairobi airport today after breakfast and take a short flight to Entebbe Airport in Uganda – the country where Sir Winston Churchill termed as "the brightest colorful pearl on the African continent".  Uganda was a former British protectorate that gained independence in 1962. It is a country that has a simple folk style, colorful, diverse terrain, and pleasant climate. Upon arrival, the tour representative will arrange guest to experience a unique buffet lunch on the Earth's Equator. Thereafter, visit the Hard Rock Farm which is an aboriginal farming commune. The farm representative will guide this farm visit and will lead guests to locate where the unique bighorns can be found.

Day 7 Uganda
In the morning, we will make our way to Lake Bunyonyi after breakfast. Lake Bunyonyi is believed to be Africa's second deepest lake with its parts to be almost 3,000 feet deep. Along the way, take in the many breathtaking vistas with your handy camera. Upon arrival, check into your residential cottages and enjoy lunch with a panoramic view of Lake Bunyonyi – a natural wonder with its twenty-nine islands, at this strategically elevated property.

Day 8 Uganda
If you opt to go gorilla trekking*, the day will start early with a drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a large primeval forest located in southwestern Uganda at the edge of the Albertine Rift. This is home to more than half of the world's only surviving Mountain Gorillas. After a briefing from the ranger guide, porters for hire will be assigned whom can assist in carrying with bags and cameras. Gorilla trekking starts from where they were last sighted into the thicker parts of the forest with an intent to find these gentle creatures in order to spend a precious hour of delight and fascination. There will be a choice to take time off to have the packed lunch or to have lunch later after the return to civilization. After your forest journey, you will spend the rest of the day relaxing on the porch of your lodge and admire the amazing sunset and the later star-studded night sky.

Please note that there is a gorilla permit fee for any gorilla trekking activity in Uganda. A gorilla permit in Uganda will cost USD700 per person  from the current USD 700 per person. This is still comparatively cheaper than fees charged in neighboring Congo and Rwanda. Advance reservation is required.

Day 9 Uganda
Spend the day relaxing in the lodge or visit the nearby community at your own leisure.

Day 10 Uganda – Rwanda
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Katuna Border (Rwanda-Uganda Border). After customs and immigration clearance, proceed to the city of Kigali in Rwanda. Kigali is one of the Africa's cleanest and safest cities nestled along picturesque hilltops. Lunch will be at the hotel. Have a brief introduction tour that includes the Juru Park which is one of the highest points in Kigali, for an amazing view of the city, surrounding hillside and the countryside.  Evening will be at own leisure.

Day 11 Departure from Rwanda
This journey into Africa ends and transfer to the airport will be arranged for your trip home or another onward journey.
