This is an active trip. Our tour group covers a lot of ground each day, and we spend two to three hours on our feet during tours. The pace is fast. We have many early mornings and long bus rides necessary to cover the territory. Some of our tours require walking over uneven surfaces or up and down steep slopes or steps. Today a memorable experience awaits you as you explore the best highlights of Rio de Janeiro in a 5-hour to visit the Christ the Redeemer by Van & Sugarloaf Mountain.
You will be picked-up in the l obby of your hotel between 7:30 am and 8:10 am, depending on the hotel location for a quick tour in Rio de Janeiro visiting the two most famous landmarks: the Christ the Redeemer Statue and Sugarloaf Mountain. Get picked up from your hotel and drive up to the Christ the Redeemer Statue - one of the New Seven Wonders of the World - on top of Corcovado Mountain. The drive is short and beautiful, traveling through the Tijuca Forest before opening to incredible views of the entire city. Then go to Sugarloaf Mountain, located in the Urca neighborhood. Ride a series of 2 cable cars in route to the summit, first arriving at Urca Hill, and then continuing to the top of Sugarloaf, reaching a height of 1,295 feet (395m). Conclude the tour with an exquisitely beautiful panorama of Rio de Janeiro.

Optional Program 1: HALF DAY: SANTA TERESA, LAPA WITH TRAM RIDE AND SELARON STEPS (4 Hours)
You will be picked-up in the lobby of your hotel between 8:05 am and 9:00 am, depending on the hotel location for a half-day tour to discover the many hidden gems in Rio’s Downtown area with a tour guide. Begin your tour at Downtown (“Centro”), where you will get the tram (“bondinho”) to the bohemian neighborhood of Santa Teresa. You will drive over the Arcos da Lapa, the aqueduct used to connect water from Santa Teresa to Downtown and one of Rio’s most traditional postcards. At Santa Teresa, you will experience an interesting local atmosphere. Walk along the bohemian neighborhood of Santa Teresa, a bucolic area in Rio de Janeiro. Located on a hillside, Santa Teresa has become a district of cultural interest because of its architectural value and prime location, famous for its winding, narrow cobblestone streets and a favourite spot for artists and tourists. A flair like Montmartre, in Paris. You will visit the Ruins Park (closed on Mondays), a public park with an art gallery built around the ruins of a mansion. Take a minute to enjoy the city’s landscape, in particular the Downtown area and the Sugarloaf Mountain. Up next, you will walk down the colorful Selarón Steps, one of Rio’s landmarks, and arrive at the district of Lapa, the zone with most traditional nightlife. Take a stroll in the Passeio Público, the oldest public park in the South America, to reach Cinelândia, a lively spot in Rio thanks to its bars, restaurants, and cultural attractions. Among many remarkable constructions in the area, you will notice the Municipal theater, Rio de Janeiro’s most traditional theatre and opera house, as well as the Biblioteca Nacional, Brazil’s most important library.

Your last stop will be at Confeitaria Colombo (closed on Sundays), a permanent member of all “must-see cafés” rankings around the world. Enjoy the opulent art nouveau decorated with huge stained glass, tiles, and mirrors imported from France, Portugal, and Belgium. You can finish your tour tasting one of the Brazilian traditional snacks – such as the coxinha de frango (‘little chicken thigh’) – or desserts – such as the brigadeiro (‘brigadier’) in one of Rio de Janeiro’s most prestigious places at the beginning of the 20th century.


Optional Program 2: HALF DAY: MUSEUM OF TOMORROW, AQUARIUM RIO & OLYMPIC BOULEVARD. (4 Hours, Morning Only)
You will be picked-up in the lobby of your hotel between 8:30 am and 9:30 am, depending on the hotel location for a half-day tour to begin the tour going to the Olympic Boulevard or Porto Maravilha, the city's port area that has been completely revitalized and where the newest tourist attractions in Rio de Janeiro are located.

Visit Museum of Tomorrow, a modern and technological applied science museum dedicated to exploring and questioning all the possibilities for building the future of the planet and humans. Observe and take photos in front of the unusual and futuristic architecture from one of the most visited museums in Brazil. Inside the Museum of Tomorrow, you will learn about opportunities and challenges that humanity will have to face in the coming decades from the perspectives of sustainability and coexistence. Then, make a stop for photos at the Kobra Mural - one of the largest graffiti murals in the world - created by Brazilian artist Eduardo Kobra. Observe five ethnic groups depicted realistically on a colorful background with geometric shapes.

Last stop is at Aquarium, the largest marine aquarium in South America. See more than 5,000 animals from 350 different species from around the world in 28 saltwater tanks. You will be able to see up close and even interact with an immense variety of fish, invertebrates, rays, sharks, and corals. Take a photo inside the main tank tunnel, where you will see animals passing over you! An entertainment show about nature for all ages!


Optional Program 3: HALF DAY: RIO NATURE - TIJUCA FOREST AND BOTANICAL GARDEN (4 Hours, Afternoon Only)
You will be picked-up in the lobby of your hotel between 1:00 pm and 14:00 pm, depending on the hotel location for a half-day tour to discover the diversity of Brazilian and foreign flora with a tour at the Botanical Garden in Rio de Janeiro. Then, contemplate the incredible beauty of the Tijuca National Park, one of the largest urban forests in the world.

Enjoy close the natural diversity of Rio de Janeiro. Begin your tour at the Botanical Garden and visit the Sensory Garden, the Brazilwood (tree that gives name to the country), the Turtle Lake and the lake with the giant-waterlily. Walk through the bicentenary imperial palm trees as you go to the orchidarium and bromeliad house. Then, visit the Vista Chinesa gazebo and enjoy a panoramic view of Rio de Janeiro with mountains, forest, and ocean at 388 meters above sea level. In a distance, you can also see Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf. Follow to an adventure at Tijuca National Forest, one of the largest urban forests in the world. Observe the Taunay Waterfall and walk through a simple trail as you learn more about the Atlantic Forest, its flora and fauna. Day 5 Rio De Janeiro-Foz do Iguassu
After Breakfast, transfer from the Hotel to Airport and then take the domestic flight from Rio De Janeiro to Foz do Iguassu. Upon arrival in Iguassu, meet the tour guide and then transfer to the hotel. Then Departure in vehicle heading to the National Park of the Brazilian Falls (entrance fee included). The tour starts with a visit to the Main Center of the park, where you will have the opportunity to get some hints about the local ecosystem. From there hike along the most important trail of the park where the you can enjoy an astonishing view of the waterfalls. From the local belvedere you will have a privileged sight of the both parks of the waterfalls. Return to the main point via the panoramic elevator.

Optional Program:The Bird Park Visiting
Located at the entrance of the National Park Bird Park is an ecological sanctuary, linking ecotourism with conservation. Huge nurseries provide a basic understanding of some 900 birds, 150 species. Brazilian birds predominate, but there are species from Australia, Africa and Asia represented. It also develops a recognized work of education, research and Environmental conservation. Other attractions include a butterfly nursery with approximately 25 species of reptiles, where you can see snakes and alligators from just a few meters away.

Day 6 Foz do Iguassu - Iguazu
After Breakfast, transfer ahead to Argentina side with a quick stop at customs checks. After that, the tour continues to the Tancredo Neves Bridge over the Iguassu River, which separates the border between Argentina and Brazil. Once in Argentina, take a scenic highway up to the Argentine Iguassu Park (entrance fee included) where you will have a spectacular view of the Argentinean Falls, with access to the very brink of the awe-inspiring Devil's Throat, largest of the Argentinean Falls, including the San Martin Falls. On the way back from the falls a stop at the “Three Borders” Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay meet.Visit the upper circuit and the Devil´s Throat.

Optional Program:The Big Adventure Tour(Argentinean Side) 
The tour combines rainforest and waterfalls. We will drive trucks into the vast wild vegetation joined by experienced guides. We will get off at the pier and board a boat to sail the Iguazú Inferior river canyon, rafting the river rapids to appreciate falls from the San Martín island peaceful backwater. Then we will visit the Tres Mosqueteros (Three Musketeers) falls, and Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat) will crown the tour. Sailing the coast of the island, we will get to the next exciting point: the San Martín falls, the greatest a boat can approach.

IMPORTANT: We recommend taking a second pair of shoes, informal clothes in order to change because in the Great Adventure excursion everyone will get wet.

After Breakfast, join our perfect tour to discover the charm of Argentina's capital, from the chic districts of Recoleta and Palermo, to historic Plaza de Mayo, and architectural icons such as the Colon opera house, the Metropolitan Cathedral and the palace of Congress. The program finishes in old town San Telmo, home of the city's aristocracy until the late 19th century; Caminito street, in La Boca, the colorful shelter for Italian immigrants by the Riachuelo, and the young thriving restaurant scene at the Puerto Madero waterfront.

Later at night we will enjoy an unforgettable night, surrender to the magic of this city that never sleeps and to the charm of this overwhelming and sanguine music —main protagonist of the night— while enjoying the best of its varied gastronomic offer. This typical early 20th century house is an ideal stage for a unique show: 15 artists, one tango orchestras, a folk music group, dancers and singer.

Optional Program 1: FD ESTANCIA OMBU DE ARECO (MINIMUM 2 PAX)
In this tour the passenger enjoys an authentic field day in an exclusive Estancia in San Antonio de Areco. At the beginning of the tour the group will travel to San Antonio de Areco and you will be able to enjoy a close view of our pampa along the way and at the same time receive a full explanation from one of our specialized guides. Upon arrival in San Antonio de Areco, the group will take a tour of the town, which includes a walk through the historic heart of this small town. Following that the group will head to the exclusive Estancia 'El Ombu de Areco'. Once at the ranch, passengers can take horseback rides or take a sulky ride while enjoying the traditional "Argentine EMPANADAS" and drinks. At lunchtime the group will enjoy a typical "ASADO" using only the first class meats. quality. Dessert is accompanied by a folklore show, which is followed by a demonstration of gaucho skills.

The historic town of San Isidro and the picturesque Delta del Tigre are located in the north of Buenos Aires and are one of the most visited tourist spots, both by locals and foreign tourists. You will sail along the Rio de la Plata, bordering the entire coast from where you will be able to observe from the River Plate stadium, the mansions of the north zone and the showy typical houses of the Delta. The tour includes navigation to the Ida and return in Van, making an intermediate stop in San Isidro. We will start with the pickup from your hotel, where we will take you to the boat in Puerto Madero (navigation of approximately 1.45 hours) audio guided and with our guide on board until you reach the Puerto de Frutos where you can tour and visit the traditional craft fair. Also enjoy a delicious snack (empanadas with drink) at Restaurant Vivanco. To finish, we will return to the hotel by van, making an intermediate stop in the town of San Isidro to learn about the history of the place and visit the Cathedral that bears the same name. You will sail along the Rio de la Plata, bordering the entire coast from where you will be able to observe from the River Plate stadium, the mansions of the north zone and the showy typical houses of the Delta. The tour includes navigation to the Ida and return in Van, making an intermediate stop in San Isidro. We will start with the pickup from your hotel, where we will take you to the boat in Puerto Madero (navigation of approximately 1.45 hours) audio guided and with our guide on board until you reach the Puerto de Frutos where you can tour and visit the traditional craft fair. Also enjoy a delicious snack (empanadas with drink) at Restaurant Vivanco. To finish, we will return to the hotel by van, making an intermediate stop in the town of San Isidro to learn about the history of the place and visit the Cathedral that bears the same name.
