Is This Trip Right for You?

This is an active trip. Our tour group covers a lot of ground each day, and we spend two to three hours on our feet during tours. The pace is fast. We have many early mornings and long bus rides necessary to cover the territory. Some of our tours require walking over uneven surfaces or up and down steep slopes or steps. Day 1 Depart for Asia
Board the international airline from your gateway city to start your adventure to exotic destinations in Asia. Fly in comforts over the International Date Line towards Bangkok while indulging in superior inflight services of the international carrier.

Day 2 Arrive in Bangkok, Thailand
Welcome to Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand. Upon arrival, greeted by our local tour guide after clearing customs and immigration at the airport and you will be transferred to your booked hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is at your leisure or rest to accustom to the new time zone.

Day 3 Bangkok
Your sightseeing in Bangkok begins with a visit to the Marble Temple (Wat Benchamabophit) to admire its amazing statue. It’s one of Bangkok’s most elegant and unique temples with its white marble walls. Afterwards, visit the Bangkok Chinatown District, and the Temple of Golden Buddha (Wat Traimit), home to the world’s biggest solid-gold Buddha statue. It’s measuring 10 feet high, weighing over 5 tons, and valued at $14m. Enjoy the balance of the day at leisure.

Optional Program: Asiatique The Riverfront & Dinner Cruise Night Tour(minimum 4 participants) $65 per person. This Evening, why not mark your last night in Thailand’s exciting capital with our optional Chao Phraya dinner Cruise. Admire views of the floodlit Grand Palace, and Bangkok’s golden temples and river bridges as you enjoy a scrumptious buffet dinner on board your comfortable ship.

Day 4 Bangkok – Pattaya

This morning, drive to scenic Pattaya (approximate 2 hours), a popular vacation spot on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand whose beaches and entertainments draw thousands of visitors annually. On the way, stop at Gemstone Gallery, Asia's biggest museum for gems & stones!!! and where you can see how traditional Thailand precious items are produced for sale and purchase some as souvenirs for friends and families. Upon arrival, visit the Sanctuary of Truth – a gigantic wooden construction which covers the area of more than two rais, and one of most interesting attractions in Pattaya! The remainder of the day is at your leisure to relaxing on the sands or by the pool.

Optional Program: The Alcazar Cabaret in Pattaya $65  per person. The Alcazar Cabaret Pattaya is recognized internationally throughout the entertainment circuit. Alcazar is more than just a drag queen show and in the early days was not accepted. After years of evolvement and development of new technology, the Alcazar Show is world acclaimed. It has successfully blended the art of acting, stage design, costumes and performance so well that all ages can enjoy the spectacular show. The Alcazar show is a must see for visitors local or foreigners.

Day 5 Pattaya
Today is at leisure to relax, rejuvenate and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.


Optional Program: Full-Day Floating Market & Elephant World Sanctuary $135 per person. Pattaya Floating Market – the biggest in the world. Separated into four sections, with each offering and representing items from the four major regions of Thailand. Here, you will find food and fruit stalls as well as souvenir shops. Then, travel to scenic Rainforest and visit the Elephant Sanctuary for rescued elephants. Admire, feed and help bathe these incredible animals in the river before enjoying lunch at the camp..

Day 6 Bangkok 
After breakfast, visit the Buddha Mountain (Khao Chi Chan), a famous place as it features a giant sculptural image of Lord Buddha erected on the giant cliff. Then, stop at Thai-Silk Center – the best place to shop Thai silk and handicrafts. Afterwards, board your departing bus back to Bangkok.

Day 7 Bangkok - Saigon, Vietnam 
Check out of the hotel in Bangkok and ride the transfer to the airport to check-in for the flight to Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). Our Vietnam tour representative will be met and greet you in Ho Chi Minh Airport after you exit at the baggage collection and arrange for transfer to bring you to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day will be at your own leisure.

Day 8 Saigon 
A vibrant metropolis, Saigon teems with energy, activity, and motion. Everywhere you look, you see the convergence of traditional and modern life. Begin the trip into modern history with a tour of the Reunification Palace. Formerly the Independence Palace of the South Vietnamese president, this 60s style building was famously stormed by tanks on April 30, 1975, signifying the fall of South Vietnam. It has been preserved in its original state, and the original tanks remain on display near the entrance gate.

Afterward, drive to the historic center to visit the Emperor of Jade Pagoda, one of Saigon's most interesting pagodas. Proceed to pay a quick visit to the neo-Romanesque Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. Pass by the classic European-style landmarks such as the ornate City Hall (Hotel De Ville), the old Opera House (both may only be viewed from the outside). Finally, end up at the central Ben Thanh Market, where vendors display a vast array of goods and handicrafts, appealing to every state.

Optional Program Cu Chi Tunnels: Never discovered by American forces, the Cu Chi Tunnels were an important Vietcong base during the American War. Stretching over 200 km, this incredible underground network, dug by hand out of hard laterite, connected command posts, hospitals, shelter and weapons factories. Today, walk through the area and learn about the day to day life of the Vietcong, bear witness to the cleverly disguised entrances and elaborate the booby-traps, and even venture inside the tunnels, some of which have been modified to accommodate tourists.

Enjoy your free day on your own.

Welcome to join our optional program to Mekong Delta & Ben Tre full-day tour with lunch: After a journey through Ben Luc and Tan An, proceed to Ben Tre to take a boat trip on the Mekong River to Vam Xep canal where local handicrafts and coconut sweets are produced. Enjoy fresh seasonal fruits, a performance of traditional songs, and observe the local life. Take a short ride on the motor cart to a typical local house to taste some homemade honey-tea. Proceed by sampan through the small canals to observe the daily life of local people along the riverbanks with some stops for a leisurely stroll.

Day 10 Saigon - Hanoi 
Today you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight to Hanoi – the capital city of Vietnam in the north. Founded as the capital of Imperial Vietnam in 1010, with a current population of 7.7 million people, Hanoi is the second-largest city in the country. It was also the administrative enter of French Indochina when France colonized the country from 1883 to 1945. The juxtaposition of French-style avenues, bridges, and buildings with traditional Vietnamese-styled architecture can still be visible today. You will be met and greeted by our tour representative at the airport and escorted to the hotel for check-in. In the afternoon, head out to Ba Dinh Square and start our day with The Presidential Palace (passing by only, formerly Palace of the Governor-General of French Indochina), Ho Chi Minh’s house-on-stilt and nearby One Pillar Pagoda. Next is a visit to the Museum of Ethnology, which gives an excellent overview of the country's ethnic groups, customs, and ways of life. The highlight here is the large, beautiful outdoor area featuring genuine houses and compounds as built and used by the many different ethnic groups.

Day 11 Hanoi - Halong Bay
Breakfast at the hotel before heading out to Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Ha Long, you will board an overnight cruise amongst the more than 3,000 limestone islands rising majestically out of the turquoise bay. You pass grand rock formations and quaint fishing towns and sample a delicious lunch of freshly caught fish and seafood. 

In the afternoon, you can choose from several interesting activities: a cooking demonstration with the chef on board, an optional traditional massage, or a refreshing swim. End the day with a spectacular set-menu gastronomic dinner. Overnight on a boat in Ha Long Bay (Remarks: cruise itinerary is subject to change depending on the weather condition).

Day 12 Halong Bay - Hanoi
Start the day with calming Tai Chi, often accompanied by an amazing sunrise and the quiet breath-taking beauty of the bay’s landscape. The cruise passes beautiful spots such as Trong, Trinh Nu, and the Me Cung Caves, and you will have a chance to explore Surprise Cave before having buffet brunch on board.

Back at the dock, where you will be met and transferred to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi in the afternoon and start visiting highlights of Hanoi, Visit the Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam built in the 11th century. Then drive to Hanoi Center and explore the city's lively Old Quarter. This is a place you must see to experience Hanoi, where exciting shopping opportunities and vibrant cultural and historical sites share the same small area. Close your day by attending a wonderful performance of the Water Puppet Show.

Day 13 Depart Hanoi, Vietnam
Check out of the hotel after breakfast and be transferred to the airport for your departure flight back home.
