Is This Trip Right for You?

This is an active trip. Our tour group covers a lot of ground each day, and we spend two to three hours on our feet during tours. The pace is fast. We have many early mornings and long bus rides necessary to cover the territory. Some of our tours require walking over uneven surfaces or up and down steep slopes or steps. This tour is not recommended for people who have difficulty walking. This is a Group Tour program. For more information, please consult with our travel advisers.

Day 1 Depart for Singapore
Depart for Singapore from your international gateway. Board your booked international airline and arrive at this island destination at the southern tip of the Malayan peninsula in Southeast Asia.

Day 2 Singapore Arrival
Welcome to Singapore. Upon arrival, prepared to be amazed by the reputed Best Airport in the World in Singapore where you will be met and greeted by our tour representative after your exit from speedy customs and immigration checks. The transfer will be arranged for you to proceed to your pre-arranged hotel for check-in. Singapore was a former colony of the British Empire as an important trading post for the sea trade between Europe and Asia in the 18th and 19th centuries. It gained its independence in 1965 and flourished as an important financial hub in the region in the 20th century, widely regarded as one of the four tigers of economic success and growth in Asia. Today, Singapore has prospered as a highly efficient and orderly First World nation and is regarded as the most expensive city in the world. The rest of the day will be to rest and get accustomed to the time zone and climate, explore this island country on your own or relax at the hotel.

Overnight: Singapore

Day 3 Singapore
Our half-day city tour will begin after breakfast. Explore the Civic District that is still dotted with neo-colonial European architecture buildings mostly serving as government offices or public buildings. Drive past the huge grass field called Padang that used to be the gathering place for the nation's national parades celebrating its independence, or where the sport of cricket is still being played in front of the once exclusive Cricket Club. Peek at the imposing Parliament House, Supreme Court, and City Hall along the way to arrive at the Merlion Park overlooking the grandeur of the Marina Bay. It is here most visitors will seize the opportunity for a photo-op with the landmark Merlion, a part-fish-part-lion symbol of Singapore's tourism success with gushing seawater from its lion head's mouth. The excursion continues to the colorful Chinatown and Little India that showcases a part of its multi-cultural heritage that excites your senses. The rest of the day will be at your own leisure or for own exploration of this convenient island city.

Overnight: Singapore

This excursion will start with a delicious ethnic Indian cuisine at a local restaurant and visits to the world's largest man-made fountain and the night routing among the beautiful colonial architectures of the central business district juxtaposing in the midst with the modern skyscrapers. Then proceed to the famed Bugis Street night market where locals and tourists come to shop and drink or dine alike. This is a cultural conservation project attraction where people mingle in tight alleyways bedazzled by small storefronts of shops selling almost everything on both sides. After this amazing frolic, enjoy your bar experience with the famous Singapore Sling cocktail at the Smoke & Mirrors bar on top of the National Arts Museum where you can feel larger than life in this opulent city.

Day 5 Singapore
Start your day after breakfast with a visit to the country's adjacent island resort called Sentosa. This is the island resort that houses several luxury hotels, a country club golf course and entertainment attractions for tourists and locals alike. This was where President Trump and North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un met for their first summit. Visit Sentosa's sprawling marine life attraction, the S.E.A. Aquarium that housed over 800 different species of marine life in different habitats. Prepare to leave this island resort at about 1 PM to enjoy the authentic and delicious local Hainanese Chicken Rice lunch at a local restaurant or specialty food store. Return to the hotel in the afternoon and the rest of the day shall be at your own leisure or prepare to join in our exciting optional evening excursion around this electrifying city.

Optional evening program – Great Singapore Night Life Tour. Start this evening of exciting events with dinner at Singapore's Chinatown followed by a thrilling ride as passengers in the man-power tricycles driven by your dedicated trishaw riders by your sides. These two-passenger trishaws were common sights in the old days on the island when it was common for Singaporeans to travel around the island when traveling motor vehicles and buses were not as common. Today, tourists can experience the excitements of riding in this mode of transportation that whizzes among traffic and through tight alleys where normal sedan cars cannot do. This joy ride will proceed from Chinatown to the famous bar-hopping scene at Clark Quay by the Singapore River. Get onboard a rustic Chinese junk-boat – a merchant transport boat for loading and unloading goods from ships parked out at sea in the old days, but now converted into passenger boats along the river – and cruise along the Singapore River by night to enjoy the views of the brightly-lighted skyline of Singapore that comprises of many skyscrapers, commercially converted warehouses, and low-rise colonial buildings along the banks, and the excellent view of the Merlion statue from the waters. Next visit the amazing attraction, Gardens by the Bay at Marina Bay where you can see an amazing collection of plants and vegetation from five continents in the Flower Dome – which was duly recorded in Guinness Book of World Records in 2015. Walk atop the highly elevated Super Tree Grove to view the 115-foot tall indoor waterfall and enjoy the laser-and-music show. Get the panoramic view of the city and into the ocean in the clouds from one of the few tallest garden in the world on the top deck of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel at over 656 feet from the ground.
