You even can pose for photo-ops with a miniature Statue of Liberty replica or a full-scale Gundam robot there. Walk into the grounds of the famous Asakusa Kannon Temple (Sensoji) later. This oldest and most famous Buddhist temple in Tokyo was dedicated to Kannon Bosatsu or the Bohdisattva of Compassion, and the long street leading up to the temple door is lined with 89 stores selling many colorful and interesting gifts since the eighteenth century.
