Is This Trip Right for You?

This is an active trip. Our tour group covers a lot of ground each day, and we spend two to three hours on our feet during tours. The pace is fast. We have many early mornings and long bus rides necessary to cover the territory. Some of our tours require walking over uneven surfaces or up and down steep slopes or steps. Day 1: Fly to Taipei
Board your international flight bound for Taipei from your select international gateway.

Day 2: Arrive in Taipei(D)
Upon arrival, greeted by our local tour guide at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Time to rest, relax and acclimate to your new time zone.

Day 3: Taipei (AB L SD)
After breakfast, visit the famous The Historical Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall ,The architecture of the memorial hall and the changing of the guard ceremony are both impressive. You can also learn the history of Taiwan and of Chiang Kai-Shek’s life at the museum or admire the beautiful Chinese-style garden outside. The Tallest Skyscraper in Taiwan-Taipei 101, is the iconic building of Taipei. The highlight is its observation deck where you’ll see the damper: the key elements of earthquake resistance systems . And the view of city’s skyline from the top is amazing. The Great Eastern Philosophy - Confucius Temple,It is a combination of a temple and a museum where honors Confucius - an outstanding teacher in Chinese culture. Learning more about the philosophy through the exhibition and watching an interactive movie at the 4D theatre. Encountering a Healing Deity - Bao-an Temple,The only UNESCO listed for cultural heritage conservation in Taipei and has been maintained and repaired with traditional techniques. Don't miss the beautiful sculptures all across the roofs.

Day 4 : Taipei- Jiufen Gold Rush Town -Taipei(AB L D)
Jiufen, perfectly situated up in the hills and straddles the Pacific Ocean, was once a prosperous gold rush town before the 1970s. Today, with its picturesque stone walls, narrow cobblestone streets, and tea houses, the ancient city has become an inspirational mecca for artists, writers, and movie directors like Hou Hsiao-hsien (A City of Sadness) and Hayao Miyazaki (Spirited Away).
Jiufen & Its Nostalgic Old Street
Jiufen is the minner living area during the gold rush era, rich with authentic Taiwanese food, sloping steps, traditional Chinese architecture. In the end of the old street, you can see the boundless sea and sky. 
A Local Vintage Theater House
Sheng Ping Theater House is the first movie theater in Northern Taiwan. It was the most luxury movie theater in the gold minning era. The building was build on the rock and save a lot of material. You can say it is a green building.
Back to the Old Times - Shifen Old street
We can release the sky lantern on the railway in Shifen Old street. You can also experience interesting “train passing by doorways” and the fun of shopping besides the railway tracks.
Let's Make a wish - Sky Lantern
Make a wish, write it on the lantern and let it fly. Releasing sky lantern has long been used for people to pray for their wishes.

Day 5:  Depart from Taipei-Beijing,China(AB D)
Check out of the hotel before noon and depart to Airport fly to Beijing. Upon arrival at Beijing, the capital of China and one of the most well known tourist destinations in the world, where you are met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 6: Explore Beijing (AB, L, SD)
This morning, see vast Tiananmen Square, the largest city square in the world. Then, visit the imperial Forbidden City, the largest and best preserved imperial palace constructed in 1420. visit Temple of Heaven, an Imperial Sacrificial Altar in Beijing, which is the site of imperial sacrifices to Heaven. In the evening, you will enjoy an authentic Peking Duck Banquet.

Day 7: Beijing (AB, L,D)

This morning, you will visit the Great Wall of China, one of the country's most famous tourist attractions and one of the greatest man-made wonders of the world. It runs about 5,500 miles through 150 different counties. Then Beijing Hutongs are made up of lanes or alleys formed by lines of pre-modern quadrangles (siheyuan), four-sided dwelling compounds or quadrangles consist of one-story courtyard houses, which make up the old Beijing, and featured typical Chinese residential architecture. Hutongs are an irregular maze, ranging from only 40 centimeter to 10 meter in width, and the longest one has more than 20 turns. Exploring Hutongs is a challenge to you if you do not know the landform. You can hop on a rickshaw to ride through the narrow alleys. A local Hutong family visit will be specially arranged for you. You can talk with the local residents and have lunch there. you would like to have a glimpse into Beijing's yesterday. After that drive to Olympic Park to visit the Bird's Nest and Water Cube(outview).The National Stadium was built for Beijing Olympic Games in 2008. In the evening, the Water Cube can be lightened in different color lights.

Day 8: Beijing (AB, L,D)
Today, you will be visiting a local school in Beijing. In the school, students have a chance to interact with the local Chinese students and teachers. A tour of the school will be guided by the students and teachers and we will also arrange Chinese traditional Lessons.

Day9: Beijing-High-speed train-Luoyang (AB, L,D)
Arrival at Luoyang by High-speed train, your guide will greet you at the station. This afternoon, you are Going to Dengfeng and visit the Shaolin Temple, the Pagoda Forest and enjoy the Kungfu Show, and then, You will go back to Luoyang and stroll along the ancient street in Old Town.

Day10: Luoyang-High-speed train-Xian (AB, L,D)
This morning, you will visit the Longmen Grottoes, one of the three most well known treasure houses of stone inscriptions in China.. At noon, you will leave Luoyang for Xi’an and take a high-speed train to Xian, you'll be greeted by our tour guide and transferred to visit the Muslim Street, the local Bazaar. Afterwards, transfer to visit the ancient City Wall of Xian, one of the existing best preserved city walls in China, and one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world.

Day 11: Xian (AB, L,SD)
In 221 BC, Qin Shi Huang unified China and became the first emperor. When he died, an entire Terra Cotta Army was constructed to be buried along with the emperor. It was uncovered serendipitously in 1974 by farmers, and then became one of the century's greatest archaeological discoveries. You will visit the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum. Dive into history today. Xian History Museum, Xi’an Museum contains more than 110,000 pieces of cultural relics, including bronze wares, jade wares, gold and silver wares, porcelains, stone sculptures, inscription on tablet, seals, earthenwares, three-color glazed wares, painting and calligraphy, sutra, rubbings, ancient and rare books, miscellaneous wares, including 10441 pieces of valuable cultural relics at no lower than grade III. The evening is also well prepared for you – a delicious Chinese Dumpling Banquet while watching a gorgeous show presenting the prosperous Tang Dynasty of ancient China. Enjoy your night!
