Is This Trip Right for You?

This is an active trip. Our tour group covers a lot of ground each day, and we spend two to three hours on our feet during tours. The pace is fast. We have many early mornings and long bus rides necessary to cover the territory. Some of our tours require walking over uneven surfaces or up and down steep slopes or steps. Day 1 Fly to England
Board your international flight bound for Europe from your select international gateway.


Day 2 London, England Arrival
Upon arrival at London international airport, our tour representative will arrange to pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the hotel to check-in. The rest of the day is at your own leisure.

Day 3 London
Set off in the morning to visit London attractions: Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Prime Minister's Office at No. 10 Downing Street, Whitehall Street, St. James' Park, Buckingham Palace, River Thames. Lunch in Chinatown at noon, visit the famous British Museum after dinner, then visit St. Paul's Cathedral, Tower Bridge and the London Castle consisting of 22 towers. History of bloody battles.

Day 4 London - Cambridge - York, 220 miles
In the morning, we set off for the university town of Cambridge, the highest university in the UK. In addition to the strong academic atmosphere, Cambridge has a lot of beauty. Xu Zhimo's "Farewell to Cambridge" has left future generations with unlimited imagination and longing for Cambridge. Upon arrival, visit Cambridge University, a beautiful university located on the Jianhe border, and the ancient and majestic university clusters, including King's College, Queen's College, etc., and the Bridge of Sighs, which is full of literati romance. Later, we will go to York, a famous medieval city in England. York City integrates the diverse history and cultural relics of Roman, Saxon and Viking rule, plus the fully preserved medieval street buildings, showing the nostalgic and quaint side of York, and it is also an important city to witness the history of England. Coming to York is like traveling through a time tunnel to the Middle Ages. Day 5 York - Edinburgh - Perth, 250 miles
In the morning, depart for Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. It is expected to arrive in Edinburgh in the afternoon. Edinburgh is the epitome of the best Scottish style. The fragrant whisky, the bagpiper in the Scottish plaid skirt, its thousands of customs and unique nationality will make you linger. Upon arrival, visit Edinburgh Castle, which stands on an extinct volcanic rock, to see the oldest royal crowns and jewels. Then visit the Royal Road, City Hall and Royal Park connected with Holyrood Palace. Group members can also choose to go to the Elephant Cafe where J.K. Rowling wrote the book "Harry Potter" for a coffee. Then drive towards the ancient city of Perth, which was once the capital of Scotland.

Day 6 Perth - Inverness (Ness Lake) - Fort Augustus - Glenfinnan Viaduct - Fort William, 250 miles
Fascinating highlights! Home to the famous Loch Ness monster; Inverness, known as the "Northernmost city in the UK". The Loch Ness Monster is Scotland's oldest and enduring myth and legend. Today, everyone can take a boat tour of Loch Ness to discover the truth of the Loch Ness Monster. Then visit the town with the same name as the ancient Roman emperor [Augustus]; Fort Augustus. The town is located at the southernmost tip of Loch Ness, with picturesque scenery. Continue to the Glenfinnan Viaduct. The Hogwarts train used by the protagonist of the movie [Harry Potter] passed through this bridge, which was built between 1897 and 1901. In summer, steam trains can be seen passing by, and it is one of the must-see attractions for Harry Potter fans.

Day 7 Fort William - Nevis Range Mountain Experience - Oban - Hamilton, 235 miles
Enjoy Scotland in full today! We will revolve around the mountain highlands of Ben Nevis, the highest peak in the UK, to explore the beauty of the mountains and the famous Scottish "whiskey"! Easy to see the peak! Smart businessmen built cable cars in the mountains to transport passengers up to 650 meters of mountainside, which is the most labor-saving way to enjoy the beauty of the peak. Winery tasting great wines! Scotch whisky has six major producing areas, different soils and geographical history, and the finished products have different styles. The Highlands are rich in barley, so whiskies from this region have a fascinating and unique oily feel. Then go to the [seafood capital] Auburn town, and come to Scotland on the tip of your tongue.

Day 8 Hamilton - Gretna Green - Lake District - Manchester, 250 miles
The Lake District National Park in the northwest of England, we come to see the natural beauty of thousands of years of geological changes, lakes, river valleys, mountains, waterfalls, all kinds of ingenious natural carvings. On the way, we passed the oldest and famous escape marriage town in Scotland, Gretna. Green for a little tour. After arriving in the Lake District, group members can choose to take an ancient train and boat tour of Lake Windermere or visit the Peter Rabbit Museum. After the tour, head to Manchester; it is not only the headquarters of football powerhouse Manchester United, but also an industrial city in England. After arriving, visit the characteristic buildings in the city that coexist old and new, and then go to the football holy land - the home of the Premier League Manchester United's Altford Stadium; free at leisure, have dinner and return to the hotel.

You can see the former residence where Shakespeare was born, the school where he studied and the church where he was buried. Most of the names of streets, hotels, restaurants, theatres and other heritage facilities here are related to Shakespeare. After the tour, drive to London, passing through the large-scale brand-name outlet shopping village - Bicester Shopping Village. In addition to brand-name clothing, this village also has sports goods, jewelry, household goods, books and children's clothing to choose from. There are more than 160 well-known brands. Brands including Gucci, Armani, Prada, Burberry and more. The shops in the village are all large-scale, and the average price of their products is about 40% off the original goods. Arrive in London in the evening.
